Issue:
I connect my PS4 to my monitor (http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/cpindex.pl?ctn=236V3LSB/00&hlt=Link_UserManuals&mid=Link_UserManuals&scy=CZ&slg=AEN)
It does support HDCP. The DVI-D adapter works fine, connected it to my laptop without issues (which also means the monitor and hdmi cable works).
When I then turn on the PS4, all I get is a black screen followed by a flickering black/grey. I've linked a picture to it here:
http://postimg.org/image/ncliumy6z/
This pictures shows one of the 2 states the monitor is in: either it's that or completely black. Changes every 2 seconds or so whilst the PS4 is on. If I turn it off it's only black, as you'd expect.
The middle part is in reality very grey, not as blue as it's shown in the picture.
It doesn't even work to boot in safe mode. So I can't change the resolution.
I've gone through everything I can find on google, I've read so much and tried so many things (is it a power issue? nope. Is it the hdmi cable? nope. Does my monitor support HDCP? Yepp. and so on).
Does anyone have ANY idea what this could be and what the possible solution could be?
I should mention I used to use it on my TV but I don't have a TV anymore. So the Ps4 is not broken or anything.
Thanks in advance!
