Question PS4 random black screen with audio still working on new TV..

So yesterday morning I replaced my broken TV with a new one, the TV is a Hitachi 4k 43HK25T74U. This is my first 4K tv.

I don't have the PS4 Pro only the Slim version, so yesterday after setting up my new TV, it worked perfectly all day until I switched it off around 2am.

It's worked fine for most of today aside from a black screen earlier this morning whilst watching youtube, the screen went black but still had sound. Turning the TV off then on again solved this, but it has just happened again about half an hour ago again whilst on youtube, solved by changing input to a different channel then back again.

I've tried looking around online but every instance of this happening has occured on a Pro.

Any help?

Update!

So, today I actually caught the screen blacken as it happened, the dolby vision logo appeared in the bottom right corner briefly then vanished too.

After some googling I find a lot of people experiencing the same and implying that the 'handshake' between PS4 and HDMI is going wrong.

Would a high speed 4k hdmi cable solve this? Again, I do not have the PS4 Pro.

Check if there is any software/firmware updates for your TV.

It's the TVs software and it needs updating Argos are trying to get the company to update, hitachi don't make TVs now its some Turkish mob (Vestel) who use there name same as Toshiba and so on, best buying Samsung, Sony, LG, I had the same problem with it and on a Sony forum another guy had the same problem, this does this with me also on YouTube and certain games, on the xbox one I don't have problems with this and normal TV is fine it seems to effect the PS4.
