PS4 vs Acer Monitor

I have an Acer P201W monitor and use an adapter to run HDMI through it. THis works perfectly fine for PS3 but on the PS4 the screen is off centered and part of it is missing. I have tired the screen adjust on my monitor and PS4 but to no avail. Please help.

The ps4 uses 1080p, if your monitor does NOT support 1080p then you wont be able to fit in screen.

Your right my monitor doesn't support 1080p but shouldn't changeing the resolution to a lower setting fix that? I have switched my PS4 down to as low as 480p and it didn't help adjust it correctly.

change it to 480p changes the quality not the resolution. If there is not auto adjust on your monitor or a way to change screen resolution in PS4, you're out of luck.

The problem is that I can change the screen resolution to 480p in the PS4 settings but the screen is still off centered.

When it refers to 480p reolution, it changes the quality, but keeps the image resolution still at default, which are both different
