The linked to HDMI to DP adapter is insufficient to solve the connection problem between the PS4 Pro and OP's screen. He's already got an HDMI 1.4 input, he doesn't need another one. The adapter also specifically states a lack of support for HDCP 2.2.

As mentioned by a manufacturer of such adapters, the problem is not their willingness to make such a thing, it's the lack of a chipset that can convert HDMI 2.0a to DP 1.2 being available at this time.

So, basically, they don't exist because right now it's not possible. It's not a technical impossibility, just hasn't been done yet. It should happen in time.

The solution then is to get a different screen or run the PS4 Pro through something like the PSVR, which does appear to be working...
I'm guessing that HDMI is 1080p, and DP is up to 2160p.

I can't find the manual, but it's like that on other, similar monitors.

I don't know if you can use an HDMI-> DP adapter like THIS one ($70): https://www.startech.com/AV/Converters/Video/hdmi-displayport-converter-4k~HD2DP

If you can, it may add some latency (lag) to the video. Not sure.

*Probably your best bet is to run at 1080p. It will still look great. http://www.pushsquare.com/news/2016/09/will_ps4_pro_improve_games_on_traditional_1080p_hdtvs

You only have an HDMI version 1.4 port on that screen, according to the specs I pulled up. This limits the available 4k support options. Reading about the PS4 Pro issues, I wouldn't be surprised if the console refused to see a screen as 4k if it's not connected to an HDMI 2.0a port.

Some of your issues may be fixed by a firmware update, but that might be a while in coming.

HDR support requires HDMI 2.0a and HDCP 2.2.

Even if you can get your PS4 Pro to output 4k to your screen, the HDMI 1.4 port will limit 4k refresh rates to 30 Hz.

I linked one I THOUGHT would work but unfortunately it is 4K @30Hz.

I have been unable to find one that supports 4K@60Hz. Possibly they do not exist?

Again, would also have to investigate how much LATENCY there is involved.

*Watch the VIDEO I linked if you have not, because it sounds like running at 1080p is going to still look close to 4K anyway because it's upscaling the image on the PRO. (it processes at the higher resolution then downscales to 1080p rather than process at say 1800p then upscale to 2160p)

Basically it's doing a method of anti-aliasing so you get less jagged edges.

You still get the benefits if higher resolution textures, and other graphical effects that are done on the PS4 PRO but not the regular PS4.

In some games you'll actually get a more stable frame rate as well.

So again, I really don't think 4K is going to look too much different. I have a 2560x1440 monitor and most of the high resolution benefits I see are games with a lot of small text, but games for consoles are optimized for not only 1080p but someone sitting a fair distance away so text is generally a lot larger.

It's not ideal, but neither is the connectivity on the PS4 Pro. Would it have killed SONY to include a DP connector? I would personally believe the likelihood of attaching a gaming console to a gaming monitor is going to be higher than just attaching a 4k UHD Blu-ray player to a gaming monitor to watch movies. Asking for DP support on a gaming console shouldn't be asking for too much.
