Question PS5 controller and PC

Ive been trying to get the mic working on my PS5 controller but to no avail. Ive tried watching videos but still not having much luck. I have it plugged in,(not using via bluetooth.) but just cant get it to work? Also, if I plug my earphones into the controller I get no audio, only if they're plugged into my PC. I can use the controller to play games no problem, just cant seem to enable the mic or audio if it's plugged into the controller.

Just got the mic to work BUT the mute button on the controller isnt working. Anyone know a work around for this?
