Question PS5 Controller Not Detected ?

Today, suddenly, my PC will not detect my PS5 controller when connected to USB port. I have never had issues with connectivity before.

I've tried:

Windows Troubleshooter
changing out the USB cord
trying other USB ports
removing other USB connections
resetting the PS5 controller

but nothing has worked. The controller blinks orange 3 times whenever I plug it in.

If anyone can help with troubleshooting tips for getting Windows to recognize the controller that would be great - otherwise I may just default to buying another controller to see if that is the issue. Thanks!

Have you tried tethering the culprit to a donor system to rule out a fault controller or that the issue is with your platform alone? Have you tried working with other USB ports on your platform, to rule out a faulty port on your system? Speaking of system, you forgot to list your specs to the build. Please list them like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

BIOS version for your motherboard? If you're on Windows 10, please mention the version(not edition) of the OS.
