Question PS5 monitor recommendations

I’m not very clued up about the deeper details so thought I would seek help. I am looking for a monitor that will let me play my PS5 at 1080p 120fps. Around 24” is perfect but it must be able to deliver through the hdmi port itself. Any help is really appreciated

New 4k monitors with high refresh rates (120hz+) are rumored to be coming Q1 of next year, I would wait until they come out as they'll knock down the price of current market 4k monitors.

I mean, you have a 4k machine, why not go 4k?
For 1080p, there's a huge market for those but I don't have any specific recommendations.

The issues I have found is whether they actually deliver 120fps through hd connection. I’m not sure 4K is really worth it at 24” where as I’m hoping 120hz will be a good improvement.

The cost of the 4K monitors with 120hz is frankly a joke I’m not willing to go to that price and also they are all much larger screens. I have a LG c9 downstairs but I don’t think the wife would swallow me playing cod in the lounge lol
