Hello everyone!

One day, I shut down my PC and went to sleep. Next day I tried to start my PC but It didn't start. I figured out that electricity cut twice while I was sleeping. This affacted my PSU and glass fuse of my PSU was broken.
So, I bought a new and same model of PSU. My PSU is 10 years old and there is no factory new product in the internet. So, I bought a second hand one. I put it and everything solved, my PC was working perfectly, except one thing.

For some reason, my PC was freezing like 1 to 5 minutes randomly. I was able to play Dota 2 without any problems but after I put my new PSU, I was facing with freezing problems. Even, I tried to play CS 1.6, the game every computer could run without any problems but guess what. I was facing with random freezing problems, once again.

Yesterday, I decided to check the power cables of my PSU and installation of my hardwares but I saw that one pin of my PSU's 24 pin connector was broken! I've shared a video of my PSU below. I know by default there is already one missing pin, so there should be 23 pins but one of these 23 pins is broken/defective.

Is my freezing problems related to this broken/defective pin? What is your opinion?

Thanks!

We will need more information. Please include your system's specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Case:
OS:

We can move forward from there. Also, why couldn't you by an new aftermarket PSU that's reliably built as opposed to dealing with shady parts that are second hand?

To add, please turn off the wall socket if you don't intend to use the system or when you're sleeping with the system powered down. Irregularities in your power lines can only lead to damaged components.

Here's my system specs,
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 2.80GHz
Motherboard: ASUS P5KPL-AM SE
Ram: 2x2GB DDR2 RAM
SSD/HDD: Western Digital 320GB, WD3200AAJS-57B4A0
GPU: AMD Radeon HD5450 2GB VRAM 64bit
PSU: Bross ATX-230
Case: Standart Old One 😛
OS: Windows 7 64bit

I have some financial problems and in my situation, It's hard to buy a better, factory new one. My country is near financial collapse. That's why I needed to buy a second hand 🙁

To your second paragraph, do you mean that broken pin only can lead to component damage, not system freezing?

Thanks for your reply!
