Question PSU 6pin and 2 pin pci-e

Very quick question. I have a 1050 with a 6pin power connector from my cx450, and im upgrading to an rtx2060 and im wondering if my 6pin is an 8pin as well. I have a 6pin with another 2 pin attatched to it and im trying to guess that my 6pin can also be used as an 8pin then. Without buying an 8pin for my rtx. Is it true? Thanks!

Just beware you need like 15A~ Free for your GPU , 180W.
