Psu ac cable

Hello i recebtly purchased the evga 500 watt white psu and i noticed that the ac power cable is pretty loose, if i push my pc a litttle the entire pc turns off. I now resorted to using my previous 300 watt psus ac power cordit is a ch 311 i believe is this a good idea?

Cable should have a rating printed on it somewhere

Even a 3a 240v cable (the lowest rated I've ever seen) is capable of supplying 720w safely so you shouldn't really have an issue.
