So this is my rig:

- CX 600
- gtx 560
- 4gb 1333
- m5a97 r2.0 motherboard
- cd burn drive
- 1tb 5400 rmp hdd
- 120 gb kingston digital
- 330r corsair case

Outside stuff:
- logitech mouse
- $20 meijer speakers (will look up for name if needed)
- 23 inch dell monitor (mid quality)
- cm storm quickfire rapid
- g930 headset (i switch from speaker to headset a lot)
- mayflash gamecube controller adapter

Often times when I startup my computer, My monitor and my other accessories dont light up. Only the body turns up. Also if it does turn on, my games run on a lot lower fps (i was 60 fps on high settings on both cs:go and lol, but now theyre like 30 fps on low settings). Is this because of PSU failure?

you need a CPU

temperatures under load?
prime95 + realtemp
furmark

3dmark (basic 2013 firestrike), post the result link which comes up at the end of the test

install memtest86+ on a usb thumb drive and boot from it

test your HDDs and SSDs with their manufacturers tool

also benchmark the SSD with AS SSD and post a screenshot from it (upload picture to imagehoster and post link)

try another PSU from a friend

Oh sorry forgot
My cpu is fx 8320. I will try the methods that you have posted. Thx for quick reply!!!
Also, does the pc lag more on an unactivated windows? I have been using the 30 day trial version for the past month and the free activation duration ran out just before my the problems showed up.
