PSU and Dr. Power tester

Hello community,

I have a DELL PSU and when I connect it to Thermaltake's Dr Power tester I get the beep and LEDs as it is working, the PSU works. However when I connect i to the motherboard it won't power on.

Note: The motherboard should be ok since any other PSU works and the system powers on.

The power supply is probably failing.

So how is Dr. Power able to power on the PSU? Isn't it reliable?

Might not be putting out at it's full power , they do degrade over time.

Ran the PSU with Dr. Power for 3 hours with no problem, the device even gets hot so I assume its putting some work on it. Any ideas?
