I am looking to get this psu
https://www.ebuyer.com/1144842-corsair-rm850x-850w-modular-80-gold-power-supply-cp-9020200-uk

^^^

And this gpu
https://www.ebuyer.com/2186208-msi-...raphics-card-rtx-4070-super-12g-gaming-x-slim

^^^

My question is because of the 1 x 16 pin needed by the gpu will my psu have all the necessary pins or will the psu or gpu come with an adapter to allow for it I’ve also read on 12vhd something I couldn’t figure what it means but apparently people bought it as an cable for their psu will I need to do that?

Coming off a very mid tier set up so this is quite new for me

TIA

Excuse my ignorance I now see a 12+4 pin on Corsair website and it took me longer then I care to admit that the 4 pin are smaller pins on top and I kept question how it’s meant to fit into a 16 pin gpu slot lol

I think I’ll buy 1 of those for aesthetic+ quality sakes but it’s good to know I can atleast use the adapter until I am able to buy 1

Thank for all replies

Sorry i linked the wrong cable.

Sku: CP-8920284
https://www.corsair.com/ww/en/p/pc-...5-0-12vhpwr-type-4-psu-power-cable-cp-8920284

The two 8pin ends go to psu, 12+4 (4 sens wires) to the graphics card. The graphics card port is actually 12 pins not 16.

See picture from Msi.
