This is the build I have been tweeking with for a while now:

Just when I thought I had it all figured out, I think I have one last hurdle to get over. Because this will be mainly a HTPC with gaming on the side, SFF was a priority. I thought I had found the perfect case in the Wesena ITX6, but found it extremely limiting when it came to the PSU. The 120w unit that it comes with won't be nearly enough. My cousin (who's built many a pc) tells me I should get getting into the 900w range to keep all my components happy. Any thoughts on how/if this is achievable?

My other concern would be with the motherboard. I am fairly certain the one I've chosen will fit (the site tells me it must be 1,5” ~40mm high), but it's a big step down from the Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe I was originally hoping to use. Any chance I can get something closer to this level?

Any thoughts/comments/input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Okay. CPU, change to i5-3570k.
RAM, you don't need 16 GB. 8 GB is more than enough for gaming and basic tasks.
Also, cut down on your hard drive. You could save $100.
Last, 900w is way too much, 650w or bit higher like 750w is more than plenty. However, make sure you buy reliable brands like Corsair,XFX,Seasonic.

The problem with ITX cases is that many do not support regular ATX power supplies. In addition, I highly doubt a standard size GPU will fit and the dimensions I found would likely confirm that. The case shows as 9.5"x10"x4" and the GPU is 10.24" x 4.96" x 1.5".

Hi - 900w? You could run a system with 2 gtx 770's on a good quality 750w unit, with 1 gtx 770 look at 550-650.

I don't know what your budget is for a case, but a Bit fenix prodigy will accomodate a std ATX PSU, and will be
able to house a GPU up to 320mm in length.

However, if you want to get an ATX mobo such as the P8Z77 then you will need to get a larger case.
