PSU and Titan Z

hi all, I'm about to get Titan Z and I have CM G750m PSU.......if i disconnect the power cable from my CD/DVD drive will the PSU be enough to bottleneck Titan Z?

I'm not sure what you mean by bottleneck, but the 750 watt power supply should be just enough to install your Titan Z. It uses two 8 pin power connectors plus the PCIe slot, which equals a supply of 375 watts. The [strike]TDP[/strike] power draw is undoubtedly lower. You should be fine and unplugging your DVD player's power isn't necessary.

750W should be enough for a single Titan Z.
I would get GTX980Ti rather than Titan Z.

first of all GTX980Ti is 6Gb and anyway Im receiving Titan Z as a gift ....however I'll run it on 1080p display so I completely overkilling everything

Im afraid of peaks thats why I want to disconnect my CD/DVD drive........and idk to know do I need to connect those 2pins from different cables or I can connect 2pins from one cable ?
