PSU and UPS compatibility

Hi.
I am buying the Seasonic S12II 520w or M12II 520w (depends on price drops).
My UPS is the APC BX1100 of about 1100va. It is a stepped sine wave UPS, so I heared that it may not be compatible with the psu.
I can't afford to change the UPS to a pure sine wave one. So, what to do?.....

APC is a quality brand. I would have no reservations about using the unit, especially since it's specifically for computer use.

Some active-PFC psus have an issue with stepped sine wave UPSs however many APCs have a built in feature to prevent the issue. The issue presents itself on changeover to UPS power.

Its fairly easy to see if there is a problem, connect the UPS and do a self test in the software. If the PC shuts off when you do that then there is an issue. Most likely it will work fine. Save the box so you can return it just in case.

Thanks a lot. Well, I was wondering if my psu was right. My specs are-
i5 8400 (Future proof mod edit: language)
msi z370 a-pro( cheapest in the market; still costs hell)
g skill ripjaws v ddr4 2400 8gb
galax gtx 1060 6gb exoc
wd blue 1tb
adata premier sp580
circle cc821
So...is galax reliable? I mean about quality and customer service? Am really unsure of my choice.

I've had a lot of gpu's over the years , I'd consider my Galax exoc 970 black the best manufactured card by a fair stretch.

& that's compared to comparative Asus dc2 & MSI gaming models I've owned.

So yeah , good make IMO , just very limited sales in central america so you don't see a massive amount of reviews on them.
