Psu and usb <HELP:)>

will having something on via usb effect the psu's MTBF when the pc is turned OFF. becuase i have a few doobies charging overnight and wondered if the MTBF is effected even though it is 'off' and yes it usb does get power when the pc is 'off' thanks:)

Yes, it will affect the MTBF, but you're looking at something along the line of minutes, nothing you should worry about. MTBF is based on average use, which means if you draw less than average wattage all the time, your MTBF should increase, where if you were to pull almost full load the whole time, your MTBF should fall dramatically. That said, MTBF is a pretty useless figure and it's probably not relevant to you, since it is not intended as a measurement of the lifespan, rather a measurement of its reliability.
