PSU assistance with case

My chassis is an NZXT gaurdian chassis and the power supply is supposed to be mounted on the bottom. Am I supposed to position my power supply upside down in this case?? the vent seems to be on the bottom 😛P

The PSU can be mounted either way depending. If your concern is to provide cool fresh air to the PSU to allow it to run cooler and perhaps add to it's longevity, a fan down mounting is preferred. If you are looking to have the PSU help increase case airflow, mounting it face up will allow it to help air circulation at the slight expense of having warmer air travelling through your PSU
