Hi I have a lenovo h50-55 and it has 12gb of ram, amd a10 7800 and msi r7 240. I have a 180 watt psu and I was wondering if that the pow psu wattage is giving me bad fps. I know it isn't a strong gpu but I think I could get more fps with a bigger psu. And if so what would be a good psu?
So I am pretty much just wondering if getting a new psu will increase my fps.
Thanks

Solution
the gpu takes all the watts it can from the pci express slot

this is nto a gaming gpu, it is what it and you are getting all it can offer

if you want more, buy it by yourself, save some money and sell this card, there is nothing else can be done with this gpu

buy another and get a better psu, that 1050 is cheap, a second hard 750 could be a option too, same rules applies for pus, get a better psu
the gpu is not for gaming and the cpu is not a fast cpu for gaming either

you need something like a r7250x to get better fps or get used to play on 720p at medium to get good fps

the gpu is a 40 or 50 watts psu so that weak psu is enough for it and that cpu that surely uses 80watts only

get a better gpu to get better fps, but a better gpu needs a better psu

The problem is that i can't afford a 1050 and i got this gpu for Christmas and my parents are probably going to be mad that I already want a new gpu. couldn't the psu get more fps by providing more power to the parts?

you should always research while buying computer parts. do not rush; read reviews. hopefully you didn't actually ask for this particular card for christmas but it was just bought for without your consultation, otherwise....
