So I have had my PC for just about a year now. I went to turn my PSU on the PC and it just went BANG! I have a Corsair 650w PSU and I am concerned if anything else has been taken down with it. I have checked the inside of my PC and I cannot see any damage, I have also checked if my keyboard, mouse and external hard disc is working and they all are. I did not build this PC myself I designed it then a company in the UK called computerplanet.co.uk built it for me. Therefore I should be able to get it back on warranty however I don't want to go through all the hassle of doing so.
I don't know wether it would make a difference but here are my specs:
- AMD FX 6300
- Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 4GB
- Corsair 650w PSU
- Corsair 8GB 1866mhz (2x4)
- ASUS M5A99FX Pro R2.0

Ok then thanks for that nice to hear a bit if positivity

Some Corsair PSU's are not that good. When it went bang it could have caused zero damage to the rest of the PC but it could also have taken out many components. If you attempt to replace the PSU yourself and it turns out other components are damaged you will probably find you have voided the warranty which could have saved you a lot of money. I would go the warranty route.

Is there any way I can check if something has died or not?

Not really, damage usually has no visual signs and its not till you go to power up with a new PSU that you realise something is wrong.

I just found that it said this about it on the website so hopefully I should be good:
