ZALMAN ZM500-GV 500w 80 Plus Bronze ( what is the different between it and the ZALMAN ZM500-LE 500W? )
Cooler Master Elite V2 500W

80+ Basic/Bronze/Silver/Gold/Platinum/Titanium are simply tiers of PSU efficiency certifications.

The "color" does not need to be in the name but most PSUs with better than 80+ Basic efficiency tend to include it there for marketing reasons.

If the PSU has no 80+ certification whatsoever, then the unit simply has no documented power conversion efficiency and those tend to fare poorly.

In general, PSUs with higher 80+ certification ratings tend to have better overall build quality due to the tighter tolerances and lower losses that must be achieved to meet efficiency requirements.

No, the PSU does not need to have "Bronze" in the name of it.

PSUs are in different categories based on their efficiency rating. They go all the way up to Platinum rated.

Check out these links for more info on that:

And even if a part is rated as bronze, silver, or whatever...there are also different qualities of the components used which end up designating to tiers in the computer industry. So, one bronze rated PSU is not necessarily equal to another bronze rated PSU.

As MasterDell already mentioned, neither of those PSUs are good quality ones.

thanks a lot so is there any recommend PSU 500w with good price?
