[SOLVED] PSU Cable Recommendations For MSI RTX 3080

Hello, I am thinking of upgrading my graphics card to the new 3080 and I need to know if my PSU will support the 8+8+8 pin on the graphics card. I have lost my cables for my PSU so I am going to buy new ones.

RIG:
Ryzen 7 2700x
Asrock B450m Steel Legend
32gb Trident Z 3600
GPU Upgrade: GeForce RTX™ 3080 GAMING X TRIO 10G
Corsair CX650M

You'll be pushing your lower budget power supply pretty hard with the GPU upgrade. You may want to consider upgrading the PSU to a higher quality model with more power.

You'll be pushing your lower budget power supply pretty hard with the GPU upgrade. You may want to consider upgrading the PSU to a higher quality model with more power.

- MSI recommends a 750 watt PSU for that card and you need to verify it will fit whatever case you're using. The card length is 323mm.

- Testing shows whole system power draw can exceed 500 watts. A little more headroom for the PSU might be a good idea but that's your call.
