So I just bought a corsair cx430 off of of newegg. Removed the old PSU, placed in the new one, and this new psu has a dual-CPU jack. Here's a picture to show you, the thing circled in green is in the way of the CPU power cable.

In this photo you can see the black plug, which is new, and the white single plug, which is the old one.

I was thinking of cutting off the CPU cable from another psu, sticking it into the holes of these, and taping it in place. I don't have a solder gun and do not want to return this psu.

Have you tried putting it in there I had one like this it will still plug in the 4 extra connectors just hang off the side. This is no big deal.

Edit O I C the issue thingies in the way... ya adapter all the way dont cut the wires you might later want the 8 for a newer board.

Thent

Oh my god I'm such an idiot thank you so much!! I can't thank you enough! I already cut off the CPU connector off my old Mac lol. Wow gosh thank you so much!
