So I’m presently running a EVGA G2 750w psu, I just picked up a sleeved CORSAIR psu cables kit, my question here is this, I can plug all the cables into the matching slots on the psu BUT the PCIe cables don’t match my vga slots but instead the cpu slot, will I have issues if I plug in here, next is I only have one available cpu slot since the main one is plugged to the mobo, BUT I’m running a asus 1080Ti which requires TWO PCIe plugs, am I able to use a splitter? The Corsair cable pack cable with a single to two pcie connections but will this put out enough power going from one to two in the cpu slot? oh and can I plug a line for molex plug into a secondary slot for SATA plugs?

Solution
Different PSU brands' modular cables may be wired and keyed differently. DO NOT mix-and-match cables between vendors unless you have triple-checked that the cable you want to reuse have the exact same modular PSU connector pinout. If your "PCIe" cable "matches" the CPU's power connector, then you either have the wrong end of the PCIe cable or your "PCIe" cable is actually an EPS12 cable which looks similar to PCIe 8-pin but is wired backwards, has different row spacing and pin keying.

Solution
After researching you are correct, most match up but others don’t, the safest thing is to follow direction and buy ones made specifically for my psu and return the ones made for a Corsair unit,
Thank you for the quick reply.
