I just got a new 750 watt power supply because my old power supply kept burning any new hard drive i put into it, but when I play games both my monitors go black for a few seconds and my game crashes i have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti gpu which only needs around 600watts from what i remember and a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor and one hard drive. nothing overheats, and I don't overclock it at all.

If the "old power supply kept burning any new hard drive i put into it" I'd be very concerned about the health of other components, e.g. mobo, GPU, etc.

What exactly happened to the new hard drives with the old PSU? If they were spinning hard disks, this might indicate the +12V rail on the old PSU was way outside the normal range of +11.4 to +12.6V.

A faulty 12V rail could also damage the GPU and CPU VRM stages.

the gpu and cpu seem fine. It only started crashing after I had changed the power supply.
