MY parts so far
Xfx hd 7850 2gb
Fx 8320
Zalman z11 plus
8gb patriot g2 ram
Western digital caviar green 2tb

And I plan to buy the Asus sabertooth 990fx 2.0
My question as I merely dont have the know how towork if this is compatible.
Will this psu work? I think the wattage was fine, as well as the ampere level, but beyond that im inknowledgable, nplease will it work!?
Thank you.

There are some fine PSUs from other manufacturers.
However, the one linked up there definitely isn't among them. £18.95 for a 650W PSU?

I wouldn't go as far as to say only go with those brands. I certainly wouldn't go for a £19 PSU though. If you cheap out on the PSU, you will almost certainly run into stability issues if you overclock or have any long gaming sessions.

That one is pretty good.

Basically what I am saying is that the PSU you chose should physically work but is looks a bit cheap and nasty.

I found the sabertooth for £6 more than that. I saved money on the hardrive so my limit is £42. But I need it to be quality and 500w+ and two pcie connectors. Any ideas

Only problem is that only has one pcie connector, the card performs better with two, apparantly. Also the card said it needs 500w or abve.

You only need one connector for the HD 7850. Also, that's just a rough guide. Looking at your build, you would pull around 280W under full load. Anyway, I'd sooner trust that XFX with a 450W load than I would that Pulse PSU.

450W should be fine, I would get 500W if you can but only if it is a quality PSU. Quality comes first.

That's a good example of why people shouldn't obsess so much over wattages. That Corsair CX500 is no more powerful than the XFX 450W you and I both recommended above (I just recommended it at a cheaper store ;) ). They both have 34A on the 12V rail. The difference is the XFX PSU is higher quality.

This has two pcie connectors, is 500w . And is a good make will this work?

It's a cheap CWT vs. a slightly cheaper CWT as far as I can tell. I'd still prefer the 450W XFX PSU, which is a Seasonic (and more honestly rated).

It's not a downright dangerous PSU to use though. It'll do in a pinch.
