I am looking for a new PSU, I need one that would support a single 1tb harddrive, diskdrive this mobo http://lb.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=59305&agid=1601, and a gtx 780. I was looking at the corsair RM750 http://www.corsair.com/us/power-supply-units/rm-series-power-supply-units/rm-series-rm750-80-plus-gold-certified-power-supply.html, But I am not to sure, If anyone could help me out it would greatly appreciated

Thanks

For a system using a single GeForce GTX 780 graphics card NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 600 Watt or greater system power supply that has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 42 Amps or greater and that has at least one 6-pin and one 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

For a system using two GeForce GTX 780 graphics cards in 2-way SLI mode NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 850 Watt or greater system power supply that has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 65 Amps or greater and that has at least two 6-pin and two 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Sufficient Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) rated at 45°C - 50°C ambient temperature, is the most critical factor.

Overclocking of the CPU and/or GPU(s) may require an additional increase to the maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current ratings, recommended above, to meet the increase in power required for the overclock. The additional amount required will depend on the magnitude of the overclock being attempted.

The two cards that come with the highest factory overclock:

Galaxy GeForce GTX 780 HOF [78XNH5DV8PXV]

ZOTAC AMP! GeForce GTX 780 [ZT-70203-10P]

When techPowerUp.com reviewed the MSI GTX 780 Lightning they were able to overclock their card to a base clock of 1120 MHz and boost clock of 1173 MHz. The memory was also overclocked to 1710 MHz. The 14% overclock of the GPU and memory resulted in a performance gain of 14% above what was achieved with the original factory clocks. I'm not saying that you will be able to achieve the same overclock.

The card itself is rather well constructed.
