For some reason i cannot click on the link to the PSU on newegg, my filter at work must be blocking, though i can go to the newegg website...

Anyway, the original power supply in that HP is an ATX power supply: so whatever power supply you're looking for, just make sure it is ATX and the dimensions are the same of VERY close.

not sure what that other 500w thermaltake costs but i know for a fact that the Corsair is better than the thermaltake as it has 30amps on the 12v rail and it is 80 plus efficiency certified.

Actually I asked this question because I'm selling the Thermaltake PSU on eBay and someone asked me a question, asking if the PSU I'm selling (the Thermaltake) would work with their PC (the HP). Would it work?
