Hey i have TX 550 M corsair PSU i bought RTX 2060 with 8pin power supply, i lost cables i bought pair of corsairs cables with connection to PCIE 6 plus 2, but the connection to PSU type 4 is solid 8 while looking closer to the end its only 7 pins, is it possible to connect it to CPU slot to power GPU or that would be a issue which can result in damage? The reason for connection to CPU slot in PSU becouse PCIE slot can only take in 6 pins, it really taking me weeks to manage to connect my PSU and its getting really annoying,

On both a CPU 4+4 and GPU 6+2 there should be 8 pins.
Care to share a picture?

GPU and CPU power connectors are keyed differently and it wont fit in the same sockets. Plus, if you force it you will damage your hardware.

Okey jumping to next question? Its been 3 years with this PSU but im kinda collecting dust on my GPU which was bought two weeks ago, im consider an upgrade too? currently looking to corsair 750txm and upgrade to my current one, which will also take my suffers finding correct cables etc.

Its really hard to find approriate cables in Lithuania i searched everything like i said i bought a couple of corsairs type 4 but the end to PSU is 8 slot(looks like 7), and PCIE is 6plus 2 which is good. What type cables should be good for PSU and GPU?

Its dual 6+2 8 pin pcie connector.

6+2 goes in well into GPU and another branch of 6+2 goes into PSU Pcie slot without any problem or pressure but then i turned on pc and it just flashed and didnt turn on properly.
