Hi guys I just got my PC P&C 750W Crossfire Edition and I got a couple of questions about the conncetors

1)I noticed thers 24-pin ATX connector a 8-pin CPU connector and a 4-pin CPU connector, my mobo is 24pins and 8pins so wats the other 4pin connector for?

2)I also got some S erial ATA Connectors are those for my HDD and my optical drive?

3)I also got a bunch of 4-pin connector with 2 of them having a blue plastic cover thing are all of those my my fans, because the manual refers to those as drive connectors?

4) I also got this little 4-pin connector the manual refers to it as a mini drive connector

One last thing lets say all I have is a power supply and some 120mm fans can I just plug the psu to the wall and the 120mm fans to the 4-pin sockets and see my fans spin?=)

Some motherboards only support a 4 pin connector and not an 8 pin, but im surprised they gave you both instead of a 4+4 connector.

Sata power connections are for anything that you connect via Sata cable to your motherboard, generally they go to your optical drives and HDD's

The 4-pin connector that look like the two with the plastic cover are standard molex connectors, they go to IDE HDD's and optical drives.

Looking at the specs for that PSU it also comes with 1 floppy drive connector, that would be that tiny white 4 pin connector, unless you have a floppy drive you dont need it.

So do the SATA connectors that come off my PSU plug into my mobob or my HDD/optical drive

Yea cause I got like 7of those 4-pins with 2 of them having the blue plasti thing over it. So are you Saying the the 4-pins(with blue coer) plug into my HDD and my Optical Drive and the other 5 are for my fans?

If you are connecting your optical drive and HDD to your motherboard via Sata cable, then the sata power connectors will plug into the drives. The connectors are so different that you can basically go off of, if it looks like a spot where a certain connector should go and the connector fits without too much force then thats the right spot.

If your fans are powered by molex connectors and not special adapters then yes they are for your fans.

OK the SATA connectors go from my PSU to my HDD/Drives to give them juice and the connector that connects my HDD/Drives with my mobo comes with HDD/drives....did I get everything right?

is there a differance with the 4-pins that have the blue thing over them and the other 4pins cause they look exactly the same except the blue thing.

and last question lets say all I have is a power supply and some 120mm fans can I just plug the psu to the wall and the 120mm fans to the 4-pin sockets and see my fans spin?
