Hi All,
I know I'm a long way behind the curve here but I'm JUST upgrading to a i5 2500K from my old Q6600. So New Mobo & possibly a new Cooler. I cant find the box for my Arctic Freezer 7 to see if there is a mounting kit in it for the new 1155 MOBO so I was looking at a new cooler. Read a few articles and I liked the look of the Enermax ETS-T40 but I can't seem to find one to buy (except used on ebay)

Anyone know if the newer Enermax ones will be backward compatibly, if they are as good as the reviews for the T40 or if I'm going to have to buy used because I'm so far off the pace.

Thanks for reading
NeilV

Best thing to do is go to the PCPartPicker website and enter your build
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/

This will not only determine if your selected cooler will be LGA 1155 compatible but will flag other incompatibilities 99% of the time.

There are number of Enermax coolers which are 1155 compatible. I might also suggest these

The GAMMAXX 400 would be my choice.
