PSU digital ATX

Hi, i bought a new psu recently, i needed 1000w for my system and i decided to buy the hx1200i corsair PSU because it was on sale and the box for the 1000 w PSU plastic covering was off, i did not feel comfortable buying that one. i just have one question, it is about the corsair AX series, they say that it is a digital ATX PSU, and i just want to know what does that mean when they refer to it being digital ATX. if anyone knows please fill me in, just wondering. thank you.

It means you can monitor PSU performance via special software.

The AX series is their highest end and is supposedly controlled by an integrated digital signal processor to make it more efficient. You can view stats and controls for it on your PC as well.

Its an excellent PSU.
