Question PSU Dying And Suggestions?

Sons has EVGA 650 80+ Gold from his original Ryzen 1700 Asus x370 Prime Pro build, which was upgraded by a Ryzen 58003xd and RTX 4070.

Been working fine for 18 months but now getting random blank screens with audio, but stress testing with Furmark @ 1440 as recommended by Corsair, causes reset.
CPU and memory stress testing runs for hours without issues.

Now as we think the PSU is 7 years+ old and as EVGA is a dead brand, is this thing probably a good suspect for EOL and to replace with a 850w Gold full modular, what is recommended?

EVGA is the brand of the unit while 650 and 80+ gold are the advertised wattage and 80+ efficiency ratings for the unit, respectively. What is the model of the unit?

A PSU being discontinued might be a sign of it being lackluster in terms of build quality but the brand is no longer with us, hence they shut their operations a while ago but were emptying out their inventory/lots. If you followed through our threads here, you'll see that EVGA had a string of hit or miss units even within their cream of the crop lineup of PSU's.

To add, 7 years is a long time for a PSU to be in service and depending on your model, I'm assuming the warranty on it isn't 10 years, but 5 perhaps. If that's the case, they you're outside of the warranty period, meaning that unit lived out the life EVGA had planned out for it. You didn't mention what the PSU powered throughout it's lifetime...only stating the processor and motherboard.

What are the current specs to your son's build?
Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
