PSU enough for geforce 9800 gt or not???

I am switching to new Nvidia 9800 gt graphics card. I have an intel dg43 nb motherboard, E2220 dual core processor,
Power supply by my PSU is
450 watt
+3.3 V, 20 A
+5 V, 27A
+12 V, 20A
-5 V, 0.5 A
-12 V, 0.8 A
+5VSB, 2A

Am i able to use the this graphics card without any problem.....
Or i need to upgrade my PSU??

upgrade your psu. you want at least 30A on the 12v rail or 2x 15a rails. Your CPU will be a huge bottleneck anyway. If you went for a gt240 you should be ok with that psu and your cpu will bottleneck a little but not as much

it would only be good for lower powered cards like the gt240 or ati 5670

I upgraded it to goldkist 550W power supply, 2 12 v power supply of 19A each, one with a six pin connector..

I aordered a Geforce 9800 gt .
and got
Inno3D N98 gt 1 gb DDR2, With no external power supply,

Is it alike with the 9800 gt with the external power supply, in performance?

Inno3d Geforce 9800 gt : N98Gt-1-DDV-D2CX, 1 gb ddr2, and without external 6-pin connector

i'm really confused with the performance level of this card. is it good as the 9800 gt with external power supply??

What are the drawbacks of this Inno3D N98 gt compared to the previous one?

What are this graphics card benchmarks and its performance? What are the similar performance graphics card for this Inno3D graphics card in performance?

hi mate
the 450w has enough wattage however its weak 20A rail(+12v) wont be enough to safely power the geforce 9800gt... however its not impossible..... power ratings for cards are calculated using a reference pc which will more than likely be a core i7 and 8gb ram..... these obviously require more power than other cpu,s.... so as long as your using just one sata drive and a single optical drive you may be ok
however your goldkist 550W power supply seems ok..... never heard of them but the dual +12v rails with 19A on each will power the geforce 9800gt without any problems...... however it may be worth monitoring the voltage ect on this psu..... unknown brands of psu,s will sometimes massage the truth when it comes to ampages and wattages.... thats why graphic card manufactuers allways go over the top with their power requirements..... this allows for inferior psu,s that mis direct the end user... so by recommending a 600w psu they know you will get the 500w required by the card.....
dont get me wrong... ive never heard of goldkist.... they may be a reputable manufactuter.....hope they are.....

The 9800GT you got is a green edition, it will be slower than a normal 9800GT.
