Greetings,
My old psu burnt out and my father's friend gave me some psu that he didn't need for a pack of ciggs so I did not have to buy a new one. It's from Eurocase and now he gave me another one from Evolve so I can choose. From what I have read, Both of these psus are bad, but I have no other option right now so I would like to know if there is any noticeable difference between these two. In future, I will be able to get a better one, but now it's all I can get.

My current specs:
MB: GIGABYTE GA-990XA-UD3 - AMD 990X
CPU: AMD FX-6300 (no OC)
CPU Cooler: Gelid Solution Tranquillo rev.3
GPU: Nvidia GTX 550Ti
HDD: WD Caviar Blue LX 1TB
RAM: Kingston HyperX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333
and 4x 120mm fans

My current specs are bad for what I want to do with my computer (Mainly play games and some basic image editing) ,but I am hoping to upgrade for 8/16 gigs of ram, new gpu and mobo. So I would also like to know if my psu needs to be changed before upgrading or if I can upgrade my computer without being worried and then buy new psu. I am also not going to run sli or crossfire or anything crazy.

Thanks for any help!

Thanks for fast answer! I've read about these low end psus and I don't want the Evolve one to destroy my components that I was planning to buy first, so I will buy a new psu first and then upgrade the rest.
