Hi everyone,

I'm still quite new here but i find this forum very helpfull, so i'm posting another problem.

I recently finished my new build :
Intel I7 4790K
Asus Gtx 970 Strix 4gb
Mobo Asus Maximus VII Ranger Rog
Crucial ballistix elite cl9 16gb ram
wc corsair h110i GT
PS Corsair CX 750W Bronze Box
SSD Drive Samsung 850 evo 120gb
HDD 1tb seagate
case phanteks enthoo pro windowed
1 200mm fan from areocool
2 140mm fan from corsair quiet edition

Everything went quite smooth with the assembling and the pc was working well for about 3 days.
After a while, when I was in the middle of a game I decided to plug in my headset and then boom - smoke and fire from my psu and electricity gone in every room.
I obviously got a new psu for free from my shop, they also checked if the other parts are fine but it turns out it was only the psu.
So.. as I'm currently using this pc again but still have no answer - why such thing happened?

I'm afraid to plug in the headset again for now (still working btw). The audio from the front panel is connected to the mobo AAFP pin in only one possible way so i dunno what can be wrong.

Also, another thing is a strange sound like coin whine from the gpu but after some checkin in the shop, they told me my gpu is fine, so.. maybe it's normal for a gpu to run like that? It's not very loud, but when under load i can hear something like electricity buzzing, but i have to turn off my speakers to hear that ( just to give you an idea of the loudness)

My biggest concern for now is to this audio situation as I don't understand it.
