Hi,

As of a week ago my PSU which I found was the culprit is revving up to 100% most of the time. Sometimes it takes a break for a minute and goes back to running at 100% speed. Not sure what is causing this. I forgot what brand it is I want to guess Corsair. It's been two years with no issues and now the fan decides to run instead of walk.

What should I do after blowing air in it and that didn't fix the issue. Time to replace the PSU?

Note: The fan is at the bottom blowing air UP into the case.

Which psu exactly? If still under warranty could you rma.
I would have to dig inside the case to find out which. It's 2 years old. Now every time I turn it on the fan is at 100% and it scares me. I don't want to fry anything in my system. I'm not sure what's causing this. It sits up on a small office desk alone good airflow around it no smoke no nothing. Not sure why it would get a lot of dust if that was the case. I've tried airing it out and nothing.

This is what I see while my PSU fan is going haywire on idle.

NZXT! I'm gonna be real with you guys. I banged the case. Banged on top of the PSU after it froze on me doing a 1hr and 30 minute podcast. Then I wiggled the power plug and yanked it out. Plugged it back in and now she's quite quiet. I'm so confused. Maybe I needed to beat it up?

Two people ask what psu you have (and jonnyguru want's to know all specs) and your response is "i beat the psu" where i guess you mean the pc and which you shouldn't do, not with a pc not with any other electrical device.

So again what psu? = maker+model+wattgae. And for jonnyguru what other parts as well?
