Question Psu fan spins after shut down

Hi, when I shut down 1st build pc the psu fan stays on ( or starts up if 0db switched on). If I switch psu off it stops & also stops if I enable erp in bios. All fans are using pwm & all fans are connected to 5v 3pin fan hub connected to psu. If I disconnect the fan hub 3 pin from the motherboard D_LED2 header it shuts down correctly & the psu fan doesn't spin. Nowhere else to connect the 3 pin hub apart from d_led1 but I'm sure that would do the same. I have sys fan 4 free but that's 4 pin. So without having to enable erp or use the psu switch everytime how do i get psu fan to stop after shut down? Selling pc to family member & want it built correctly.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Can you pass on a link to the PWM hub you're working with? As for the connections, can you pass on a couple of pictures of how the PWM hub is tethered to the PSU and motherboard?

Hi, not with pc right now but I'm not using a pwm hub. All fans 3 pins connected to 3 pin fan hub which is connected to psu via sata & motherboard d_led2 3 pin. All fans 4 pin pwm are conecteded to motherboard using splitters x 3.

Fixed it. I tried a new branded 10 port 5v 3 pin fan hub ( Thermalright) which made no difference but then tried the 3 pin cable that came with hub & now psu fan does not spin after shut down. So it was a faulty 3 pin cable that came with the unbranded 10 port hub.
