I am in love with the Bitfenix Prodigy chassis for a while and planning to build a PC for the first time. Will a Seasonic G-550 80 plus gold fit in it's psu compartment?

According to my research 160mm would be the max and you'll really have to push the psu so hard so that it would fit. Thanks for the answer. How about efficient and quiet psu that is 150mm only in length or shorter, any models you can suggest? I need a lot of good suggestions because the shops here have only limited choices of psu

Sadly, that's not available here. I shop at local stores and online shop near my province that doesn't require credit cards or other electronic transactions (since cash and banks are still the common modes of transaction here in Philippines)

Will a Corsair CX Series CX600M 80Plus-Bronze APFC PSU at 73$ do good?

I am planning on buying my parts at least once every two months coming out of my school allowance. While we are at it, will this build do good for current games? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/xX8G8d
It's over my planned budget but i guess this would do good for at least the next 3 years.

First thing I noticed about your build is that you have the Prodigy "M" selected, the "M" is a larger version of the Prodigy that will support a micro-ATX motherboard (it will still support a mini-ITX board though). There are a few things I would personally change with the build but I'd expect decent game play from it considering the budget. You might look at the builds in the Systems section - specifically http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2842555/steam-machine-build-600.html and http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2842547/build-750.html
The Corsair CX "Builder Series" PSU's are entry level PSU's that, although having decent performance (good voltage regulation, low ripple and noise levels), may be short lived* due to the use of cheaper capacitors in the secondary, this review may be helpful http://www.hardwareheaven.com/2013/05/corsair-cx600m-power-supply-review/6/ (conclusion page). It would work if I can't find something more appealing (I'll keep looking some more), do you have SeaSonic or XFX PSU's available?

* By "short lived" I mean failing near the expiration of warranty, about 2 - 3 1/2 years, some earlier. We saw a number of failed CX models reported here a while back, it may have been due to ChannelWell (the actual maker of the CX series) having received a batch of faulty parts or it could've been the use of the lower quality capacitors - I never found out which but still consider it when recommending PSU's and why I went on this rant.

That "M" was my bad 😀 forgot to change it. I was still reading reviews between the 2 Prodigy. I decided on the Bitfenix Prodigy over the "M" version because of the better airflow of the former.

That is sad to hear about the Corsair CX. I've been using a generic psu for almost 5 years and still hasn't failed me up to this point. Yep the Seasonic and XFX brands are available here.

I came up with that build only because those were the components only available near me.
Thanks for the help as always.
