As far as physically fitting the case, it apparently depends on whether you have the slim case or the full tower case. Full tower, yes. Slim, no.

Dell was at one time notorious for using non-standard PSU's so that you had to buy the PSU from them. So I would check the voltages on the pins going to the mobo in your old PSU to be sure if you try it. Don't just go by the wire colors.
