I've just bought a 7970 as an upgrade to my GTX 460. I'd like to keep both cards installed in my PC.

I have a Corsair 650W PSU at the moment, but I expect I'll need an upgrade to provide both enough power, and to give me the dual power connectors I'll need to make this setup work.

Can anyone suggest a suitable PSU, particularly with regards to the connectors?

Thanks

A 650W Corsair PSU should be fine.. Perhaps grab some molex adaptors if money in an issue, just be careful not to cripple your CPU (not sure what CPU you have)

If you really want a new PSU I recommend -

I've had it for a while now and it's perfect for my gaming needs.

The CPU in my system is an i7 3820 on a P9X79 with 16Mb RAM, SSD, HDD and DVD. Some back of an envelope calcs give a max system power consumption of around 600W, so I may well go for your suggestion as this Corsair PSU also includes the 4 PCI-e power connectors I need. Thanks
