What is power supply requirement for gtx 1050 ti? I currently have a 220W PSU. Will it suffice or do i need a new one?
" good thing about both the cards is that the TDP is 75W, meaning they can just draw power from the PCI-E connector without requiring external power. However, overclocked versions of these cards will need external power"

I have a hp 280 g1 I bought off of eBay for the i5 4590s to replace the i3 4160 in a machine I built.

I plugged my machine into a watt meter and stressed the gpu and cpu at the same time. With the 4590s and 1050 ti maxed out at 100% the highest wattage the Meter registered was 138 watts.

I then put the 1050 ti in the 280 g1 (with the swapped out 4160) just to see if the hp motherboard would post and boot because I'm thinking about getting a 1060 for the machine I built.

The hp worked fine with the 1050 ti but I guess if I keep it I'll probably drop $30 on a 400 watt psu for some peace of mind as it is all standard atx.
