[SOLVED] PSU for gtx 1080ti

Hey guys so i upgraded to a gtx1080ti with a ryzen 7 2700x and was wondering is a vs550 psu enough to power these components?

The x2700X draws around 105W, the 1080 is around 180 with a hard limit of about 225W.
i would go with 650 to be on the safe side, but 550 should be enough.

Ah OK, I guess I'll stay with the 550 for now and then upgrade to something like a 750 in a few months. Thanks!

High end gpu + a lower quality budget PSU is not a good combo. I suggest you upgrade to a bigger better PSU.
1080ti power usage(~279w, may vary according to model/overclock)
