hello guyz, i just bought a new GTX 750 TI
(MSI Twin Frozr version) and i have an old pre installed 300W PSU.. is it enought for this GPU ??

Corsair makes generally good components, but some of their power supplies have cheaped-out on the capacitor quality. Make sure you check jonnyguru.com reviews for similar models or use the psu hierarchy sticky as previously recommended.

Cooler Master PSU's are generally poor quality with the exception of the V-series. Corsair CX, VS and CS are not good quality for the price. An Antec VP-450 or an EVGA 500B is plenty PSU for your build and both these are better than the Corsair CX and VS series and most Cooler Master PSU's

ok thanks...
one more thing ... i m going to buy an Z97 mobo (MSI) and Corsair graphite 230T case.... the case is a mid tower and i m wondering about size compatibilty of mobo and case ..

ok so ur saying that i do not really need a Z97 mobo.. thats a good suggestion but i am buying some core i7 k series CPU.. so ...:)
well i m living in India and seasonic and Antec PSUs are way more costlier than USA or UK. .... the only choice i have is to buy some normal PSU or go for Corsair or CM PSUs 🙁

Seasonic PSUs are actually cheaper as per their quality

And you are going to have an i7 with a GTX 750 Ti? Not a good combination at all

The Seasonic ECO 500W and the Seasonic S12II 520W are both a good price on Flipkart.

If you want to overclock the i7 make sure you get an aftermarket cooler like the Cooler Master Hyper evo 212.

I agree, the GTX 750Ti is going to look very weak in comparison to the rest of your system......

If you are going to buy a GTX 970, then you should buy the Seasonic S12G 450 or 550. You won't have to upgrade the PSU later then. Also its Haswell compatible.
Looking at a Z97 mobo you might want to do SLI then S12G 650 or higher

If you are making a choice between Corsair CX and Seasonic ECO then i prefer the Corsair CX series

The CX series use nasty SamXon and CapXon capacitors.

Isn't the Seasonic just the OEM version of the S12II pretty much and has mainly Japanese capacitors and is built by Seasonic (obv) ?

EDIT: I did some more reading around. It's definitely an uglier S12II with a Nippon Chemi-Con caps on the primary and Teapo caps on the secondary side. Much better than a CX.

Seasonic ECO uses Teapo caps. The thing is that people recommend the ECO series based on the brand name Seasonic. What they don't know is that it is sold in developing countries like India. It cannot be sold in US since its 230V only. There are no reviews on it. Its as good as the Corsair VS series

But Teapo are still fairly well respected and better respected than the Chinese capacitors in the CX and VS PSU's.

What's wrong with it being only sold in developing countries only? Shouldn't they be able to buy a well made budget PSU from a good name? I think the quality is comparable to the Antec VP series, solid but nothing special

Corsair CX is way underrated. Corsair CX is better than Antec VP(230V) according to jonnyguru

Your spreadsheet puts them both in Tier 7 so not sure what it's supposed to be telling me. The higher wattage CX's are in a higher tier but that's not what we're looking at.

Anyway, in summary you would pick the CX500 and I'd go with the Seasonic ECO 500w and we'd both probably enjoy 3 years or so of trouble free computing...until the sleeve bearing fans dry out!
