I need a new psu to drive my i7 4790k on a asus z97-a motherboard, five disks, six fans, h100i. My current 650w is old and I fear it's not very stable. So I'd like something new. I'm going to oc to around 4.8 / 5.

I've been looking at:
Fractal Design Integra R2 750W,

Bequiet Pure Power L8 630W Modular,

Corsair CX600 600W 80+ Bronze

I'd like something that isn't a huge power hog when idle.

Sorry about typos, on phone :)

I do have a videocard, was on my phone, the inputboxes are tiny... It's a 770GTX

Really? Bad reviews? On newegg, maybe, because of DOA boards, the rest are positive, the guy at the shop checked my pins etc, probably a better batch now, I don't know, I have no issues with my copy of it.

From must have to best buy to flawless to pretty much "you are an ass if you pay more for your motherboard"

My i7 4790K is currently rendering an after effects composition at 4.8GHZ, easily boots and runs at 5GHZ, haven't found the magic area for stability during load, but I seem to have a pretty magic cpu.

I'm running the same CPU and mobo as you, although I only have 3 discs (2 HDDs and 1 SSD). I also have a GTX 980 TI, corsair AIO liquid cooler, and 2 fans that came with the case. I'm currently using the corsair RM1000 PSU. It's really quiet, but perhaps overkill for my system.

If you can, get a modular PSU--It's much better for cable management.
