Iv noticed that you can get a xfx r9 295x2 for around £480 which seems like a pritty good deal to me considering how amazing fast this thing is. My question is will my current psu, a corsair builder series CXM 750w modular 80 plus bronze be enough to power this monster. Also how badly will my little fx 6300 overclocked to 4.3ghz bottleneck the system?

Well Wattage wise , the CX750M will do it for now however I just don't recommend it as the TDP for the card itself is 500W and the CX series are known to fail underload , a good Replacement for the PSU will be this : PCPartPicker part list: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/Pz2H3C

Also the FX will bottleneck it severly , I recommend that you upgrade your CPU soon as well :)

Admirable
I would get a PSU with some protection, from my experience, you don't want a PSU without one, especially with this card. I bought a 1200w PSU and it was pretty defective, power surge and boom, over $1000 is blew off of my computer. So then I got the Corsair AX1500i and I had to get most of my other parts new. I would get a high wattage PSU if you're running AMD setup, I think I'm pretty close to the 1400-1500 range with the 2x 295x2s in my system. So yeah, you might want to get a PSU with protection, blew my GTX 780 from $510 to $70. Hope that helped :)
