Is my 450w PSU sufficient for this card?
Here is whats under my hood:
Processor : Core i3-2100 3.10GHz
mobo : ASUS p8h61-m LE
memory : single 4GB DDR3 1333MHz (Kingston)
HDD : 500Gb

And if there is a need to upgrade my PSU? Do I need to buy a branded one?
or budget PSU will do?

Your current PSU will probably do just fine, though i'd check the label on it for a couple of things:

1.Make sure 450 isn't just your peak wattage and that it's really only a 300 or something at constant wattage.
2.Post the +12v amperage here just so we can make sure there's enough

A branded 500w that will actually sustain 500w and have much better components can be found for as little as $35 at times, so if yours isn't up to snuff, i wouldn't worry too much

Sorry for my late reply. I actually had it wrong. I opened my rig just now to check my PSU, it says 500w.
There are 2 +12v in there, +12v1 = 15A and +12v2 = 16A. Plus i forgot to indicate that i will buy a Sapphire hd 7770 GHz ed. OCed.
