Question PSU for an RX 9070 ?

Would the be quiet! Straight Power 12 1000W ATX 3.0 be compatible with AMD RX 9070?
I think the 9070 uses a 2 x 8-pin power connector but the PSU only has 1 x 8-pin ?
850W PSU would be fine needless to ask.

are 6+2-pin connectors what's to be understood as 8-pin connectors?

yes the PSU is fine for that card and yes the 6+2 PCIe cable is used for the 8 pin on the 9070

Update:
I'm not interested to the RX 9070 Sapphire Pure over the Nitro+ because nitro uses 1x 12V-2x6 adapter but the pure uses 2x 8-Pin.
I believe from looking at the GPU and PSU that there should not be any problems.
Just to be sure i want to ask if people in this forum can confirm that?

The psu you post has a PCIe 5.0 (12VHPWR) it will work with both gpus

Most good ones over 750W will have one, yes.

Yes. ATX 3.1 comes with the newer 12V-2X6 standard, if you're interested. It's just an attempt to fix the faulty 12VHPWR design.

Not sure. the 12V-2X6 spec update is very new.
I still think the core design is bad due to it having almost no safety factor when compared to the standard 8-pin PCIe.
