PSU for this build.

Upgrading PSU so I need a bit of help .

Here is my Rig :
i7 2600k 3.4 GHz
Z68 Gigabyte Mobo
HD 6850.
1 HDD
1 SSD.
Will an AX860 have everything needed for those items?( Cables , Amperes etc.)

An 860watt power supply would be massively overkill for this config. You should be just fine with something such as a Seasonic 620w.

Yeah agree with matthew 600w-650w will be more than enough or you could keep 860w psu if you were think about crossfire or just want to future proof your rig your choice.

Nono! Guys, you dont get it. Or I didn't clarify. The reason I upgrade is because I plan on going Crossife with 2x 280x, maybe even 2x290. I have researched vastly on how much wattage I truly need for those XFire setups and i do believe the AX860 can support them well enough. But , I will buy the GPUs some time after I get the PSU. Therefore, I need to be sure that I will be able to use my current rig with the new PSU for some time at least . As I said, cables etc is what concerns me ( I am far from a Hardware guy) . Thanks for the quick respone though!

PCPartPicker.com pick your parts it will give you a ide how much watts it will draw and just choose your psu from there pretty good website as well.

Guys my problem here is this : Will the hardware be combatible with the new PSU. That is all. I am not asking about watts or anything like that. Just cable compatibility.
