So my seasonic 650w gold plus died after 18 months this is pretty much what happened https://www.youtube.com/?gl=GB&hl=en-GB
I've ordered another psu and hopefully my other components will be okay.
my keyboard, mouse,WiFi adapter all still work so do my monitors. All where plugged in to the io or gpu is this a good sign they both survived?

For some odd reason the link you've parsed takes me to YT's home page. If the PSU was brand new and died, then you might want to bring Seasonic and your seller into the topic for an RMA. If this is a second hand unit, then this is another one of those threads where I advise not to buy said units to protect your investments.

There's no way of finding out if they were affected or unaffected until your new PSU arrives and you reassemble the entire system with said PSU.

I've had a PSU fail on me a long time back when I didn't have access to quality PSU's. It didn't take out anything but itself but over time...the parts from the system with the older system all died, one by one.

Psu was brand new when I got it, anything specific I need to do before putting the new psu in? I've took all the psu cables out and left everything else where it was.

You don't need to do anything else. Let's hope the rest of the components are fine. By the way, that doesn't look like any Seasonic PSU that I know, is it really a Seasonic or I misread something?
